Can I get some help on identifying 2 fish? I posted them on my page. It's the fish in pictures DSC00063 and DSC00073. They kinda look similar, but one of them appears to be a bottom feeder given the location of its mouth. Thanks

Hey george sorry for the late reply offshore has been pretty sporty for the past couple of weeks so i havent been out one of our captains has gone the past few days commercial fishing and has reported that the red snapper bite is on fire right know when the weather permits. Inshore the Redfishing at the inlet has been pretty steady as well as the backwater fishing in the flats hope that helps have a good holiday.

Spent a wonderful day friday with my oldest son water was rough as snot but we went anyway we caught a bucketload of croakers and yellow trout had a fish fry sat only kept croakers some were so big I was looking for spots on the tails tasted good welp fish on

I love my new boat

Well i told everone i got a new boat 15' critchfield made right here in jacksonville ,We took the boat camping this weekend down to faver dykes state park and we sneeked up into places Ive never been befor got up into the flats at princes pelicer and the fish were busting bait right at the side of the boat all you could see around was two other boats on the horizon and it was redfish redfish and more redfish ,mostly all rats but some nice keepers ,now that i got two boats i have to buy another c… Continue

Offshore Charter

Ok I need your help my wife is going to let me go offshore on a charter for my birthday looking for 8 to 10 hour trip end of july first week august been searching around the internet found a couple but if you know anyone from the daytona to st augustine area that has charter service let me know and as always Fish on

Wind wind and more wind out of the northeast it realy bites and then ,only 6 mile per hour get to the beach blowing at least 15 mph dead out of the east ,hope it stops soon got the boat all clean and serviced and ready to go in the water ,

3/25/09 Start of beautiful day

Well went early fishing first light started out great three throwswith cast net plenty of 4'-5' mullet nice size for reds and trout. Get to favorite fishing spot first half hour no bites watching a dock about a quarter mile down channel fish busting all over .decided to finaly take the walk first cast fish on
3lb blue and the rest is history I lost more tackle .I could see the reds but could not get past the blues , oh well least the mullet are starting to show up .
