The catch is steady but nothing special

I had one trip last year that was memorable. Dolphins, Kings, and a Hook up on a sail from a 19' Triumph. other than that the fishing has just been steady. More snake kings than I knew what to do with, when I couldn't get out to the kings it was more spanish than I knew what to do with. Sounds great but for someone who is used to catching bigger fish and more variety it has started to get to me. What is causing this trend. Fishing in the SE USA

I have been blessed in so many ways. I am so thankful for the Grace and Mercy that God in heaven has shown me. I have nothing to deserve it but I have fished from Cape Hatteras, NC South to Key West and around the corner to Venice, LA.

I have done battle with fish from White and Hickory Shad in small creeks to Marlin in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Atlantic. I Mostly fish for Kings as that is what I know best, these same techniques have yielded Cobia, Sailfish, Whahoo, Dolphin, 2 400# plus Sha… Continue
