Hi all,Thanks for the birthday wishes George
My boyfriend who is an Abaco native will be retiring here in the next few months. He is a thirty year fishing guide and is anxious to find part time work here in the Ft. Myersor Naples area, He was featured in Abaco Life magazines last issue in a four page article and has been on many fishing shows . His specialty is reef or inshore fishing , He taught me to fish 40 years ago when I spent the summer there as a young teenager. He has had his own boat and retained the same clients for many years. He is a gentleman and everyone enjoys his company and refined British manners , most importantly they always catch fish . Is there anyone out there who can give us some leads employment for him? He would love to continue fishing once he moves here. Thanks Candice

Fay No Tah on our Bite!
OFFSHORE - There are still plenty of kingfish in 30 to 50 feet of water and they have been feeding on live baits that are slow trolled. Catching under kites have been producing plenty a bonita, sharks, and Kings with cuda’s stealing your baits before the good bites. I did have reports of several cobias in the 30 to 40 pound range and they were caught in 40 feet of water by anglers who were bottom fishing. Also, under the kite are the sails to the south of the Inlet. The bottom fishing has been good over the reefs and wrecks. Either fish live or dead baits -- it has not made much difference. Along the beaches, the tarpon have been active as well as the Spanish mackerel, and the big jacks. These fish have been following the bait schools. Venice pier has produced a couple of decent sharks the past week with on again off again Mack attack action in the early am to sun to bedtime bite. “FISH ON!”
