If anyone wants to do some kayak fishing in the Tampa Bay/Clearwater/Dunedin area, maybe even up to Anclote area, lemme know. I love the kayak fishing and look to go whenever anyone would like. I have a few good poot-in points, and access to a boat to launch from sometimes (when I have money for gas).

jacksonville is having super high tides and there is alot of fresh water in the river. the water is still dirty up here.

ya, the dirty water is still up in jacksonville. im gonna take out the yak tomorrow to get some reds.

If anyone is interested in fishing the Clearwater region on some kayaks this week, I am down any morning (talking 6:00 a.m.). I am heading out on the yak in like.... 6 hours to fish, and will fish any other morning this week. My regular kayak fishing partner was out this morning (in MY home spot, on MY kayak) and he caught 15 reds in 3 hours, but I was still in North Carolina this morning, and missed out on the fun.... so, I am looking to make up for lost time.

did any of you guys been experiencing murky waters and above normal currents in your areas after fay? here in miami is hell! I went fishing yesterday and the current was impossible and I went spearfishing today and I couldn't see the tip of my gun! it was horrible!

well guys, the tournament was a huge success! The 1st place won with a 30" jack and took home a bad ass malibu mini-x kayak from kayak jeffs and malibu kayaks, along with a capt. dicks stake out pole! Just stay tunned for the next one coming up in october: Basstober!!

So, lets try and have a Sabiki Kayak Angler group fising trip, maybe one per coast. Anyone else interested in doing this? I know areas in the Clearwater-Dunedin intercoastal we can fish well from kayaks. Would be willing do drive elsewhere, though. And as far as east Coast... I dunno much at all about good kayak fishing areas.

My last two opportunities have been thwarted by weather. Hopefully in the next 48 hours I will go out and get something to the boat.
